Bishop Steve Wilson was born March 7, 1947, in Atlanta, Ga. to J. Frank and Lillian Wilson and was one of ten children. The family moved to Potts Camp, Ms. in 1948 where his father assumed the pastorate of the Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Wilson was raised in the Bethlehem community, and graduated at Potts Camp High School in 1965.

  He attended Pentecostal Bible Institute in Tupelo, Mississippi from 1966 to1968, and began the Wilson Brothers Quartet that traveled the Eastern United States and produced several recordings. The quartet was in demand in the early 1970’s at churches, camps and conventions. He became the Mississippi Youth Director of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ and later became the National Apostolic Crusaders Director and began their first National Youth Convention, which is carried on today.

He married Pat Snider of Sharon, TN. on May 15th, 1971. This union had 2 daughters-Stephanie and Carla both of which are in the ministry and one son, Patrick. Patrick was Basketball Coach for Bethlehem Christian School and Youth Pastor.  Patrick tragically died June 13, 1999.

Bishop Wilson began full time ministry at the Bethlehem Church in 1968, first as Youth Pastor, then Assistant Pastor, and later, Associate Pastor. After some time he assumed the role of Pastor. In 2009 Bethlehem Church joined Bishop Wilson in celebrating his 40th year of service at this congregation.  

  He served as Assistant Superintendent of the Assemblies for several years and then served as General Superintendent for eight years from 1999 to2007.  During his tenure his passion for souls influenced many in the organization to a greater desire for end-time revival.

In March of 2009 Bishop Wilson retired as Senior Pastor of Bethlehem Church. Currently his time is spent in preaching, teaching, visiting hospitals and many other responsibilities. He enjoys spending time with his family, daughters Stephanie and Carla, two sons-in-law, Jonathan McDonald and Johnathan Dean. He has five precious grandchildren; Sydney, Symon, Klein, Zeta and Jantz.

Sis. Pat Wilson

  Pat Snider Wilson was born October 1, 1950, in Dresden, Tn., to Rev. Harry and Delsie Snider, one of four children. She was raised in a pastor’s home until her marriage.  The family lived in Sharon, Tn. near Dresden all of her life.  She graduated from Sharon High School in 1968 and later Bruce Business Institute.  Sis. Wilson worked as a registered dental assistant and x-ray technician until her marriage to Bro. Steve Wilson on May 15, 1971. After moving to Potts Camp, she worked as secretary to a lawyer, and later in the Circuit Court Clerk’s office.

   Born to their marriage union were three children, Stephanie, Patrick and Carla. Their son, Patrick, tragically died on June 13, 1999. Their family expanded with the addition of two wonderful sons in law, Jonathan McDonald and Johnathan Dean. They have been blessed with five precious grandchildren, Sydney Jade McDonald, Symon Patrick McDonald, Wilson Klein Dean, Zeta Dean, and Jantz McDonald.

Sis. Pat Wilson has assisted Bro. Wilson in his ministry. She first served as Sunday School teacher and later as organist for the church for many years. Later she assumed secretarial duties of the church. Her life has consisted of entertaining guest ministry, outreach ministries of the church, visiting the sick, teaching, and all duties of a pastor’s wife. She continues to work in this capacity and public relations for the Bethlehem Church. For many years, Sis. Wilson has been a sought after speaker for ladies conferences, conventions and other services throughout the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ.
